Imperial Drakerider

HeliosAflame (Abrakam) : My FAVORITE card! I like how it creates so much threat while collecting. There are a lot of decisions to be made playing with it and playing against it.

Alvar: My FAVORITE card! I think if played on turn 2 it allows to establish a fairly secure double collection of faeria wells on the side, opposed to where lands are built. And that previously was available mainly to yellow color and is one of the main reasons that manta riders (and also old 2-desert Khalim) are that strong. Unless punishment and/or firebomb gets in the meta there is only choking sand to deal with it early and efficiently.

Xged: Now other colors then Yellow will be able to experience Yellow-like space domination with such a mobile creature. We saw how strong was Khalim with only 2 desert requirement back in the day. 4 Health is just enough to survive popular removals before it procs. I can see Imperial Drakerider replacing Demon in Y Tempo. Concept of riding a dragon is great, but art looks a little bit cgi-ish.

Skorch: Drakerider looks really strong, even if you don't proc the Corrupt right away it still has reasonable stats to live and out-collect your opponent.

RaiZo: I believe this will be the most popular card in the entire expansion, it could work in any deck, and it'll cause a huge impact in high mobility decks.

Werfs: A neutral Flying Charge 2 creature can push many archetypes away from their "traditional" playstyles. Green, which is known to be slow, can make use of Drakerider, and I believe Mono-Blue is also gonna be able to make use of this card.

Minocaro: Really good Pandora card! With an easy access to Corrupt proc, this card is insane, in any color. But without the Corrupt effect, is it legit to play i? Not really, I mean, I can see it playable in Yfly/Ytempo and also in Blue Tempo if more cards let this dream happen, then this card can be really oppressive on it. But overall it is hard to rate this card.

Teddy: Seems strong just off the fact that it's a flying/charge 2 that you can play turn 2 (like the old "Khalim"), setting up collection very quickly 4 HP is enough to not get punished too easily unless the meta shifts.

Kios

Jyori: My FAVORITE card! Interesting ability, but I dont see it being useful.

Xged: I am always excited for innovative card mechanics! Evil Kios might not be as intimidating as he seems.

Skorch: Kaios is back and I think even better. I immediately see him slotting into a Blue Reaver deck for the OTK potential, but I think he could even see play in other control archetypes.

RaiZo: I honeslty wouldn't think this card will make any impact, the fact that it damages everything on the board including your own creatures. It could work with GYSac or self burn decks to heal back quick.

Imperial Trooper

Smoldersan: (Abrakam) My FAVORITE card! I love fighting for lands!

Xged: Land stealing - finally! Card stealing and faeria stealing - when? This Maceman will be looking to conquer your lands for sure, but will he need them..

Skorch: Decent stats for cost and the Corrupt effect could be gamechanging in the right deck. Even Rush decks could run this as it only needs 3Wilds to work.

RaiZo: I would say its a better Maceman, only Maceman is an early game creature, it could be very good with rush decks.

Matrien: The ability to take control of a land will open up so many possibilities for decks across all colors and is a buff to all wild-cost cards, too. It is also another a form of land ramp linked to a sturdy creature.

Minocaro: This card is really terrifying, rip the Axe Grinder spot, rip the agressive desert, but also rip the 6-land cost creatures!

Skc : It will be used in Y Tempo.

Shadowsilk Faerie

Aquablad (Abrakam): My FAVORITE card! Make faeries great again!

Minocaro : My FAVORITE card! The art is super good, but also what a suprise to see this big difference bewteen this card firstly annonced and now: Charge 2 & Protection. It's now way easier to proc the corrupt effect, even if i think the real value of this card is to be a double collector for only 2 turns.

Xged: I see multiple different archtypes potentially running Shadowsilk Faerie. Thematically fitting with other faeries, but has more to offer. Collecting will be its biggest skill. Simple art concept, but good execution.

Skorch: Extra mobility means triggering Corrupt can be easier, but I'm not sure of a deck this fits into right now. I hope I'm wrong because there could be some good combos with it.

RaiZo: 4 wild lands is very expensive to play a double collector with 1/1 stats and protection, the chances of this card stepping on opponent's lands is very slim, stil a decent collector tho.

Jyori: Corrupt ability ecels on sturdy creatures and on mobile creatures. Shadowsilk Faerie is both.

Laya

Xged: Laya will mesmerize you. Fits in slower decks.

Skorch: Laya is pretty interesting as she looks like she'll give pretty good control over one spot on the board, even after she dies taunting other creatures in place with the Statue.

RaiZo: I mean this could be played in any deck, its good vs rush

Matrien: I am attracted to Laya, but that girl is poison! Never trust a stone girl and a smile.

Jyori: I do not see why this card had to be a legendary.

Blightblade Night

Xged: I like that this card allows for some crazy self burn scenarios. Its very weak.

Skorch: Pretty similar on first glance to Shaytan Demon in terms of strong stats but self-damage downside, and I don't see it as a viable replacement to Demon in any deck.

RaiZo: This is a straight up rush card, very good stats for 4 faeria, you generally dont care about taking damage if you can close out the game quick with high damage creatures, unless you are getting countered rush I could backfire on you.

Skc : Just please dont use Havoc on this (monkas).

Jyori: The card I would like to try in a rush deck. (Jyori knows a thing or two about rush)

Deranged Monkey

Xged: Sounds exciting at first, but in the end of the day its just a 4/6 2-land creature for rush archtypes only. Its very weak.

Skorch: Really good on an empty board, but otherwise forces you to choose more stats or collection on that turn.

RaiZo: This card will be very good as well, specially in come back situation, also a very good starting creature, denies alot of value from ur opponent.

Matrien: Versatile addition to many rush variations.

Jyori: I think Abrkakam just dislikes monkeys.

Lost Explorer

Xged: I love this mysterious, Faeria-like art! Lets explore some faraway lands! I can see this card substituting cards like Sagami Warrior.

Skorch: Looks decent. Both bonuses from the Corrupt effect are really nice. Nothing too strong here but a nice card.

RaiZo: Stat wise and faeria wise, this is one of the best starting cards you could get, I mean, procing the corrupt will give you some good value and if you did not manage to proc it, its still a very good investment, 3 faeria for a 3/3 creature that costed you 1 colored land. Very good.

Minocaro: This looks very strong. Its the type of cards I see making change to how we play the game. Lets you save Power-weel action. Lost Explorer is like Hunted Outlaw, but the opposite!

Matrien: This is tricky... Corrupt is not an immediate board impact ability, so I'm concerned that Lost Explorer may rarely be able to activate it's ability with those 3/3 stats.

Rain of Fish 3 2 1 3 1 1 1 2 1
Monstrous Hydra 1 3 2 2 2 2 3 1 2

Flying Piranha

Xged: Piranha becomes deadly after smelling the first blood. It has similar lifesyle as Bone Collector, therefore I would not be surprised to see them both on the same team.

Skorch: There's potential for Piranha to be a good card, but I have a hard time seeing it live long enough to trigger and gain value. But maybe we'll see a new BY Flying archetype.

RaiZo: Its a very promsing card, but hard to pull off, it'll surely see some action in the new meta.

Jyori: Very interesting card. I want to try it bad. Flying + Jump is very strong.

Rain of Fish

Atmaz (Abrakam): My FAVORITE card! There's few other things as satisfying as dropping a ton of exploding fish parts on your opponent. While the card itself is a big investment to play, you're often left with a few extra harvesters and chump blockers that can surprisingly make a big difference. It can be a burden for your opponent to deal with. Follow it up with something like Gift of Rakoa and you can often be very close to winning the game afterward. That said, it isn't great for all matchups - but who cares? Fish rain.

Skc : My FAVORITE card! This card allows for many combos - a real deckbuilder's treasure!

Xged: I like the design of Rain of Fish as much as fishes like lakes, RNG done right. It can generate some interesting situations. Its very weak.

Skorch: Blue gets an AOE but I see a lot of downsides with the RNG, weak damage, and pretty high cost. Its also pretty deep into Lake cost to be splashed into other decks.

RaiZo: I wouldn't say its a very good card, but it could work in combo decks.

Minocaro: Quick maths and you realize this card is meme. 31 tiles, usually 10-15 lands when this card become playable but with 2-3 creatures on them. We can expect average of 2 kamikaze-fishs and 4 survivors. Also, empty lands are usually in the middle of the map, where it's useless to have a body. If a fish pop on a lake, it will deal 1 damage and still survive, but it's not enough to make this card viable. Noble is just better.

Teddy: Interesting idea, might be very strong against non-red decks, but on 6 lands there are stronger cards.

Jyori: Very interesting idea. Cards like these are good entertainment when streaming. I am concerned about big element of randomness though.

Monstrous Hydra

Alchemist (Abrakam): My FAVORITE card! It plays a big role on land placement and it enables nice counterplay scenarios.

Martin (Abrakam): My FAVORITE card! I love the options it brings to the game. Looking forward to big Monstrous Hydra plays!

Anemos (Abrakam): My FAVORITE card and my favorite art!. It's one of the cards I didn't touch, but the colors work well with the set. It just looks fierce!

Lolki (Abrakam) : My FAVORITE card!

Xged: My FAVORITE card, excelent in every aspect! It can cause as many problems to your opponent as it has heads, but first you need to win a battle of corruption.

MrTea: My FAVORITE card!

Skorch: There should be so many different uses here. Options for defense against Rush, midrange control, or burst to finish a game mean it should find a home in a few decks.

RaiZo: I consider this card one of the strongest we'll see, stat wise, its worth the faeria, the effect is very very good if u can pull it off with some good value summons, its a very good control card.

Minocaro: I think this card have a bad use of "Corrupt", because "adjacent land" is usually 1 land (2 if you use mobility card). Especially when players will inscrease their skill of PowerWheel use, to not get reckt by a potential "Corrupt" card. Can we compare this card with "Noble" again? Better stats yes but without the extra body. If you want a body for 6, why not "Herald"? Do we see this cards in tier decks today? no. So no reason to see "Hydra".

Teddy: The effect sounds insanely strong. With things like "Sunken Tower" or even "Triton Banquet" there should be the possibility for some really sick plays that can win you the game. might see play in something like blue jump.

Jyori: Brings new challenges of creature positioning.

Nekomota 3 1 1 1 1 2 2 1 1

Rotting Boar

Xged: Do not let Rotting Boar near you - it will invite unwelcomed friends! Great art concept.

Skorch: Dash gives an extra edge towards getting the Corrupt effect, which looks like a pretty good one here. Only one Forest cost means it can slot into a lot of decks.

RaiZo: One of the strongest cards that will be released, it'll see alot of attention, I mean what else could you want with corrupt mechanics other than mobility or dash, this is so perfect for Green.

Matrien: I expect this will be a strong card, since the Dash ability will make Corrupt activation more likely. You can also strategically include a specific 5+ life card in your deck to be buffed.

Jyori: I would like to use Rotting Boar to search for Ursus in my top-secret combo deck :).

Haunted Willow

Xged: Living Willow lives in peace, while Haunted Willow scares even the biggest encounters, a spooky stat freak. The only reason that its not 1st at strength is because of Spirit Theft. My issue is that Slaughtering Shadow, Altar of Souls and Bandit looks clearly weaker when compared to Haunted Willow, its a bad look.

RaiZo: Its so strong to have a 7/1 creature with taunt for 2 faeria, I mean it'll be very good against everything even red, if it takes a trade its very good for you, great value, even if it get removed, its only a 2 faeria creature. I believe this is one of best designed cards for green.

Minocaro: Funny to see a swap stat Willow.

Skorch: I like the symmetry from Living Willow but this looks really weak against a lot. Maybe Green Rush will be strong and this will be a key factor in that, but its hard to see.

Jyori: Strong in Pandora.

Nekomota

Jen (Abrakam) : My FAVORITE card! It's a big cat with tails of fire, how epic is this?

Xged: This cat can sneak in some explosive attacks, but its hard to master.

Skorch: If this had Jump it would be really strong. I like what it is going for but I don't have much faith in it seeing play.

Minocaro: Design of the card looks similar to one of Ursus. Only playable in combo decks. Keep in mind, that Majinata + Guidance is enough to OTK your opponent with his corrupt effect.

RaiZo: Its a decent mid-game core creature for green, the stats are pretty good, if you manage to buff this and then proc the corrupt, you will get a lot of value from the buffs you used. But for me, 4 forests are too much since you can only run it in mono green, but its very hard to pull off in multi-color deck.

Matrien: I love both cats and Japanese mythology, so Nekomata is pretty much my spirit animal. I believe Nekomata will be strong in bulky green control/ramp decks with Beast subtype synergies.

Red

Strength

Spite Sprite 1 2 1 1 3 3 3 3 2

Havoc

Werfs: My FAVORITE card! Red is known for having explosive powers, but struggles against big creatures. Havoc, when combined with Baldurion, can easily allow Red to handle bulky creatures that they previously could not deal with.

Xged: Hard removal in Red's style. Its time to respect 5 mountains.

Skorch: Lots of damage for the cost here but its pretty lackluster in my opinion. Just another damage spell, although nice to see that stay in Red instead of another colour.

RaiZo: This is the card Red needed for a long time, it makes up for the lack of hard removals or transformation Red has. Dealing 9 damage for 5 faeria is insane, 5 mountains requirement is a bit pricey, but this is a late game card anyway, Red can afford it.

Skc : This card has will have the biggest impact on the meta.

Jyori: Do not give Red a powerful removal. Fire Elementals may have more job offers this season.

Baldurion

Teddy: My FAVORITE card! It gives Red a good 5 Mountain card and the effect is pretty cool. I like hammering people.

Skorch: Baldurion looks incredibly strong because most people agree on Hammer being one of the strongest Pandora Treasures. Being mono-Red might make triggering Corrupt difficult but that's the only realy downside here.

RaiZo: I honestly don't like mixing between pandora and normal game play, adding hammer of destruction in the competitive scene will be a bit awkward since its a card that you could keep drawing over and over and over, but overall its a very strong legendary for Red.

Matrien: Like many, I am excited to try a Baldurion burn deck that synergizes with Shadowsilk Faerie and others to pull Hammers of Destruction from your deck.

Jyori: I think its the strongest card in this expansion. Hammer will make a mess in constructed Faeria.

Spite Sprite

Skorch: My FAVORITE card! Lots of upside to this card. Turn 1 creatures are always strong and in the right deck, this could be incredible. It takes me back to the RY Angry Sac deck when Annoying Gnat was released. I could definitely see a style like that come back to the forefront of the meta with the Sprite.

Xged: Red's version of Annoying Gnat. An early collector for Angry decks.

RaiZo: Its a very cheap collector, low stats for 1 faeria 1 mountain, its a decent card u could consider in some archetypes.

Yellow

Demonic Salmon

Xged: I think that Demonic Salmon will easily cut in Y rush decks. Great detailed art, but heavenly clouds is not where I expect demons to live.

Skorch: Yellow Rush gets a new tool added and the only downside is deciding what to cut out of the current strongest version. This should see play with the Demon Wrangler sacrifice style rush that saw play before Flash Salmon got Divine.

RaiZo: This is obviously a yellow rush card, very strong early game with the flying charge 2, could reach the orb from any angle, and it stays on board and it keep growing, i'm not sure if other demonic salmons stack the buffs with each others, it'd get out of control, i very much hate this card idea, but i bet others will love spamming it.

Minocaro: This card is going to be a meme (unplayable). If I am going to make a new music about Faeria, Demonic Salmon will be its mascot.

Teddy: Probably weaker than "Flash Salmon" because it costs one more, but might see play because haste+flying+charge 2 is pretty strong as we have already seen.

Jyori: It seems that Abrakam favors Y Rush. I hate Y Rush.

Skc : Not only good in Y Rush, but also in Y Tempo.

Solem

Jiem (Abrakam) : My FAVORITE card! His ability is unique and it can really change the face of the game, it lets players experience the PvP board differently. Also it's a nice use of Corrupt, because we could hardly reach a nice level of balance for, say, an event of gift which would destroy a well. Binding that effect on an interaction you need to achieve with your opponent works really well.

Matrien: My FAVORITE card! I am excited to see how players utilize Solem's unique Corrupt ability, as well as how opponents learn to counter this massive divine creature. Divine is a powerful keyword, though I've learned from the community that it is a double-edged sword. I also love Solem because I got to reveal him.

Xged: I love this unique mechanic, curious how faeria-well destruction would shift a match. Masive creature with Divine is something I want to witness too. I like Divine keyword in general because it increases importance of board.

Skorch: Solem ranks as my lowest of the Yellow cards being released but not far off as they all look strong to me. Not sure right away of a deck that wants less Wells on the board but this will definitely need lots of experimentation.

RaiZo: When i first saw this card, my first thought was "this is the most stupid path designers would ever take" which is messing with the core game itself. Why? They could just make it "Empty a specific well till this creature dies" but destroy the well entirely is just messing with the game mechanics, which i dont like, true, its out of the box, but it's still stupid. Stat wise and faeria wise, is a good ctreature, strong and sturdy, very hard to remove since it has divine.

Minocaro: Yo, why does he have pants and boots of SonGoku? Is Solem a Kamé Sennin's disciple?

Jyori: I am against this card design. It denies a unique element of Faeira - faeria wells.

Skc : Please, do not deny collecting!

Spirit Theft

Manchy (Abrakam): My FAVORITE card! I think it has some super cool applications.

RaiZo: My FAVORITE card! This is basically a 0 cost yellow creation + 1 damage +1 heal. Enough said. I mean honestly, this is the best card you could give to Yellow, you could copy anything and play it right away, no matter what color, you get it with wild lands. I like it very much.

Sunekichi: My FAVORITE card! Interesting effect that gives us a lot of choices.

Xged: I do not like that yet another very good removal is now in the game. Removals decreases importance of the board (uninteractive), lowers the value of value trades. Although it does have a unique twist, which i like a lot.

Skorch: Super interesting design in my opinion. Certain decks have used Emperor's Command or Flash Salmon in the past for one damage pings and this easily takes their place. Nothing better than using your opponent's creatures against them.

Jyori: OP OP OP..

Last Words

Yellow and Neutral got the strongest cards, while Blue got the most interesting, but also the weakest cards. Overall quality of cards is good - cards are diverse, unique and good looking, land importance increased. However I do not think that these cards will create new archtypes, but rather supplement existing ones.
