Recommended mulligan for red creatures. Typical opening mountain mountain desert desert starting in front of the orb and moving up one side along the wells. Recommend going opposite side so you can land in peace but contesting if you think you can keep your creatures alive (ex. gift in hand against yellow event). Chargers are best when used to SMOrc to soften the opponent for burn or specter kills.
Unless you are in desperate need of a collector or defending against rush, Faerie is best used on the center mountain directly in front of your orb to force them to respond. An uncontested Faerie is one of the fastest ways to win.
Best opening hand imo is Guard + Faerie as Player 1 or Guard/Brute + Faerie as Player 2.
Note: DO NOT PLAY 2 FAERIES TURN 2 AGAINST RED. THEY ARE GUARANTEED (/s) TO HAVE GROUND SHAKER.
