Monthly Cup Qualifiers

It's already time to begin the next set of Monthly Cup qualifiers!

The first will be kicking off tomorrow, Saturday at 6pm CEST, but don't fret over timezones - just keep an eye on the countdown timer on our Monthly Cup landing page.

Eight players will advance to the Monthly Cup and compete for over $3000 in cash prizes.

This week, the qualifiers will be broadcast by Cappuccino and HeliosAflame, two of the top players in the game, on Cappuccinno's Twitch channel. It should be very interesting to watch, considering players will be coming fresh off of the balance patch from earlier this week. What decks do you think will come out on top?

One important adjustment we've made recently to tournament lobbies is the total allotted Timebank. When we first implemented the Timebank system, we wanted to initially place it in a spot that had a lot of breathing room. It has proven to be the case. After observing a number of tournaments, we are confident we can slightly tighten up the numbers and move on from here.

Make land? wat do?

Having trouble deciding where to place your lands? It's okay, you're not alone - it's one of the important pieces of basic strategy in Faeria that appears simple on the surface, but can have an incredibly subtle impact on the flow of the entire game.

Solo content in testing

As we mentioned in our Free-to-play announcement for August 24th, a heap of new solo content will be making its way into the game very soon. We are currently in the final phases of testing it and working out the final kinks before it makes its way to the masses.

We've had our ears to the door listening to a lot of chatter regarding the upcoming content, and we'd like to continue to manage everyone's expectations in this regard. We are very excited about the new solo experience we'll be introducing, but it will not be a traditional "story mode" or campaign where you move your token along a world map, as we've heard a few players speculate. We're going about it a slightly different way for now. As mentioned previously, the new content will offer a variety of challenges to complete - geared initially toward beginners, but ramping up slowly into more challenging and varied scenarios as you progress. These scenarios will introduce you to new characters within the Faeria universe and play out as individual bite-sized, tasty pieces. It's a very unique experience, and we think you'll enjoy it.

We plan on expanding this content more and more as time goes on, and we have full intentions of working as much story and lore into the solo content as possible, as we know a lot of our players desire.
