This updated guide covers everything you need to know about the Faeria World Circuit and how to earn FWC points.

The Faeria World Circuit is a seasonal based competition where players earn points by participating in the events listed below.

Faeria World Circuit Structure

A. Competing in the monthly ranked ladder

B. Competing in open tournaments

C. Competing in officially sanctioned community tournaments

Seasons

Each season lasts exactly 3 months. There are four seasons in the year:

Seasons

  • Season of Aurora: January - March
  • Season of Ruunin: April- June
  • Season of Khalim: July - September
  • Season of Seifer: October - December

This means there are three sets of monthly ladder points awarded per season. After each season, if you earn enough points you will compete in the Seasonal Cup.

A. Competing in the monthly ranked ladder

The seasonal ladder normally resets on the first Monday of each month, at 12 pm noon CEST (or CET). At the time of the season reset, standings are recorded and the top 25 players earn:

  • 1st-10th - 100 FWC Points
  • 11th-20th - 75 FWC Points
  • 21st-25th - 60 FWC Points

Monthly ladder points count toward the season in which the majority of the laddering occured. For example, if the reset happened on 3rd of January (assuming Monday), the FWC points for this reset count for December, the Season of Seifer.

B. Competing in open tournaments

Twice per month, official Championship League tournaments take place.

Tournament Structure:

  • Single Elimination tournament

  • Opponent decks appear before the match starts.

  • Players choose one of their opponent's decks to ban.
  • Players choose a deck to begin. If it wins, players must continue using it until it loses.

C. Competing in officially sanctioned community tournaments

By expanding the official tournament system to encompass community tournaments, we hope to encourage more participation in these competitive events.

    • 1st: 15 FWC Points
    • 2nd: 10 FWC Points
    • 3rd: 5 FWC Points
  • 16+ participants:
    • 1st: 25 FWC Points
    • 2nd: 20 FWC Points
    • 3rd: 15 FWC Points
    • 4th: 10 FWC Points
    • 5th-8th: 6 FWC Points
  • 32+ participants:
    • 1st: 40 FWC Points
    • 2nd: 30 FWC Points
    • 3rd: 20 FWC Points
    • 4th: 15 FWC Points
