You don't care about winning games against green, blue and red? You don't mind queing until you get one of them pesky yellow rushers? You just want to scratch that yellow rush hate itch? Well this deck is for you.

(On a more serious note... This is just meant to be a showcase of what yellow rush has trouble with / finds frustrating)

ALWAYS fill the gaps between your orb and the wells on both sides before the opponent can place a land there. Don't worry about a hit to the face (Unless its a Shaytan Demon. You can worry a bit then). You got more than enough healing, taunt and cheap critters to clean up. Speaking of taunt and cheap critters - make sure to buff anything butt peasants to 4 or above atk to avoid choking sands. If you know you can't do it this turn, you may even want to wait a turn and take that face dmg so that you can then drop and campfire your elemental (First and second turn are acceptable risks to gain the edge on land control and they don't have the required lands for CS anyways). Peasants dont need buffs because they are always a bad trade for yellow rush - but can be +1+1 to trade against wind elementals. Voice of Truth to restore your grove guardians or to give enemy crusaders some loving.

Generally think about trade value. Choking Sands against a Peasant? The horror! Even drain is bad. Last nightmare for a Campfire and a Wood Elemental? Still losing one faeria. Same goes for Grove Guardian. Consequently, you also need to hold back on buffing creatures too much. Don't make them worthwhile targets. Frustrate your opponent with bad removal choices. He removed your stuff anyways and spammed a lot of 1 health critters? Famine thanks you very much.

Don't bother with attacking until mid to late game. Just sit back and enjoy the futile attempts of getting past your taunts and structures. And just relish at the thought of 3 useless choking sands.

Optimal opening? Peasant, Vine Wall and Grove Guardian? Not sure. It all works. Except 2 Famines and a Campfire. Don't use that mulligan. It's bad.

Might be worth trading the Outland ranger or a Tiki Healer for Homeland Defenders.
Trade Ruunin's Guidance against Tiki Healer if you have it.
