mulligan for at least two creatures, manta riders and mistral guides are ideal, a creature a buff and a boar also works but for the first 3-5 turns this deck can pretend to be mono yellow. build to one side starting with deserts usually unless you have a good hand with a salami warrior. try to take controll of that side, which should be doable with mantas boars buffs and souldrains. put a guide on the side you controll in a safe position and launch boars and fishes (fish keeps its dash after it got dashed by mistral guide, so very mobile) and demons to the other side. collossus to seal the deal.
P.S. Minstral guide interactions are buggy af. you can double dash the swordfish meaning after u dash it with the guide the swordfish still has his natural dash 1 phase but that doesnt work with any other creature. all other creatures get only the dash 2 by guide although colossus maintains his dash 3 but also gains flying. i have no idea why any of this works the way it does but double dashing swordfishes is really usefull.
