Dune Drake Yellow Rush

Made some slight alterations to Aquablad's Sagittarius Yellow Rush for the post-patch environment. Currently playing this deck at top 10 God rank.


Demon Wrangler goes down to a 2x since it doesn't synergise with Flash Salmon anymore. It's still strong with Khalim's Follower and Wind Soldier so it's still worth the slot.

Dune Drake replaces Shaytan Demon. Shaytan Demon can often be a dead card in the mid-to-late game when you're racing your opponent and can't afford to take the self-damage. They also give the deck access to a strong play when going second. You can do Turn 1 Desert in front of your Orb, Turn 2 Explore > Desert and play Dune Drake, which threatens to hit Orb next turn. An early Dune Drake is also amazing in the mirror match, or against any deck that builds Prairies up the middle, since it can fly over their lands and build a Desert close to your opponent's Orb. You can do the same thing with Flash Salmon, so running two fliers with Charge 2 increases the consistency of that play.

Sagittarius is great for proccing Khalim's Prayer from across the board and buffing Zealous Crusader, but most importantly, for generating Faeria. This frees up your resource wheel action to draw a ton of cards.

This variant on Yellow Rush leans heavily on Zealous Crusaders, which is why the Flash Salmon nerf doesn't hurt it as much; you want your Salmons to die naturally so that you can find your Crusaders more consistently. Since this deck runs three copies, it's often correct to play the first one as a 5/5 or even a 4/4 in certain situations.

Choking Sands is a very insane card, great for dealing with pesky taunts like Grim Guard and Living Willow, or clearing enemy minions that are land-blocking your Deserts.
