Use Weeping Idol and Wild avenger while taking damage from gnats and shaytan demons, combine it with healing and if things get rough, you can finish the game with an at least 4/4 gift of the rakoa. Feral Kodama is there if the game drags too long and you still need healing.

You'll notice there aren't many good early game collectors, that's because you'll want to mulligan VERY HARD for weeping idol. Try to force at least one into your hand. Next, a demon wrangler and finally a sac target, be it gnats or bloomsprites. If all that fails, shaytan demon is a sturdy body with a cheap cost, but make sure it is able to trade with an enemy creature, that production damage can get out of hand quickly if your oponent focuses on your gnats.

If the enemy player is playing red, watch out for firestorm. It can clear your board most of the time, and even remove your assassin's hard earned protection. then again, if they hit gnats, you're growing your wild avengers, but be careful not to drag the game too long and lose to selfharm.

Another thing, if you are playing against yellow rush, keep track of zealous crusader's size, as you might need to save your assassins for one if it's too big.
