This deck is about Kaios + Engineer, with Aurora creation to have many combos.
The other cards are there to save you as long as necessary to get the good cards.
The Tree of everlife is there to exploite engineer gift, and to survive if you've suffered too much disease at the beginning.
It's a funny deck, very slow... but if you can get the good cards, the other player can do nothing.
Try to get Vine wall as first cards.

I guess you didn’t pick fugoru because of Time of Legends drawing the wrong card?
Yes, for this reason, and beause it’s 5 faeria, 6 lands, then it would have take the place of a card more usefull to resist while waiting for the imperial combo.
And it doesn’t add much by itself, I think.
