Basically you use your Brutes and Guards as collectors but don't push forward to fast. Then when your opponent comes for you just use your Ragers (and buff them to avoid removal) and use Grove Callers to make a surprise attack on your enemy's highest damage creature.
If your Ragers get Swallowed just use Flame Burst/Firebomb unless it's a Skywhale in wich case you're probably screwed :P
If you playing against rush just try to get a taunted Rager or Brute and just sit back and watch your opponent's health slowly fade away…
