Red Spice Control
I have been a big fan of Red Control decks, and this is my take on "red" control. I did add Crystal Spice to the list, but I need to test how that will work for the deck. I need 5 mountains, and that's a lot of lands to build up too.
To help with the land requirements, I am using three Ignusi Ritualists for land ramp to build towards 6 lands asap.
I love the Imperial Drakeriders, because they can collect and become a threat as well. Your opponent needs to deal with them, and the card has performed very well for me.
The Grim Guard might need to be removed for something else, but I'm not sure until I start testing the deck a lot more.
On that note, I have not played this deck for a while so I'm not sure how it will hold up in the current meta of the game. I will cont. working on the deck and I will see what additions can be added to make it better.
Crystal Spice might be a bit greedy, and I am not sure running three is needed but we shall see what happens on the ladder. The card is great to give a control deck more threats and resources in the late game I think.
Also, I might change out Flame Burst for Firebomb in the near future once I start testing the deck on the ladder.
