This is the deck I used to rank to god this season, November 2017.

This description uses Faeria board coordinates map made by Mighty_Meeko

This deck is intended to be a desert rush deck with some potential late game presence. From my experience, typical desert rush decks try and be as aggressive as possible without worrying about any sort of defense. This is fine, but leaves the outcome of certain matchups, such as rush v rush, up to a coin toss. Whoever is able to get the first hit with the biggest presence tends to be the victor. This deck also tries to force the opponent into a "divide and conquer" type of mentality. Depending on how you position your units, and which tiles you have control of, you can force the opponent to make a decision between going defensive or aggressive. Doing so may leave the opponent with vulnerabilities that you can take advantage of, leading to a win that you may not have had been able to otherwise. It's a deck that tries to force the opponent to expose themselves, and although it doesn't always work, it is a fun deck from my experiences.

Mulligan:

The primary purpose of the deck is to be as aggressive as possible, so it is normally a good idea to start with a hand that contains 2+ creatures of some sort so you are guaranteed some kind of board presence early in the match. Although there are other forms of removal in the deck, such as soul drains, I find that they are much less helpful in a starting hand than having a choking sand or other creatures.

Board placement:

I have found that there are 3 tiles which you should shoot for controlling with a planes to get the most out of this deck. These tiles include D2, B5, F5 as shown from the Faeria coordinates map created by Mighty_Meeko. The tile D2 is your defensive tile and can be used to delay your opponent from attacking your orb while you apply pressure to their orb from B5 or F5 tiles. These tile placements are ideal but don't necessarily mean that you should not go for aggressive tiles on C5 or E5 as well.

Taking control of B5 and F5 tiles allow you the control your own aggression by taking a faeria from the well and attacking the opponents orb. This can compound very easily if you have a sagittarius in play on the defensive D2 spot, allowing you to substantially generate faeria while assaulting your opponents orb. This can snowball to such a high degree at times that your opponent will just give up because of the tempo swing one turn can accomplish with orb damage + faeria collection using sagittarius.

Another important factor for the D2+sagittarius, F5 and B5 spots is that you can assault your opponents orb from all directions, leaving them with little opportunity to respond. effectively. Having a sagittarius on D2 forces your opponent to go aggressive to deal with the sagittarius if they are not red (sagittarius are highly susceptible to flame bursts and groundshaker+Seifer's wrath).
