The biggest issue with ranged creatures is that opponents can simply move a target out of the way. This list opts for maximum mobility with Flash Wind and Oradrim Fanatic so that you can set up your ranged creatures (especially Boulder Thrower) for free kills. Seifer is perfect here too since with Syland Horsemaster taking the ways of speeding it in the deck up to 9 it is able to speed around the field dealing with any opponent unlucky enough not to include hard removal. List also features a lot of burn to activate Flamesilk Faerie and to get the final points of damage which might otherwise be very difficult to apply. To the same end Scourgeflame Specter is a finisher, which is a fairly reasonable inclusion due to the already huge land requirements held by the remainder of the deck. Rakoan Chieftain was chosen over Gift of Steel because of the utility it can provide in harvesting mana, supporting multiple ranged creatures or dashing to a spot where I want to place a land. Khalim's Prayer is normally easy enough to activate and helps keep the engine going while providing events for Flamesilk Faerie. Finally Last Nightmare is a one-off answer to a huge/buffed creature that the ranged guys aren't big enough to handle.

Ideally you set up Faeries as mana gatherers early, and replace by horsemaster or fanatics when they become relevant. Also helps keep opposing mana gatherers under check. Getting a ranged creature in place to start hitting the opposing god is less significant than hindering their board development, as that gives you significantly more time under less pressure to do the damage.
